Wednesday

Today we went to 3 different locations again. Our group was at the main field that was built by John Grissom. What a beautiful field; Once your inside you have no idea of the poverty outside.
Most of the kids at this field are high school varsity or college level players. All compliments of global baseball over the past couple of years.
Two or three of them are having scouts come see them for potential scholarships in the USA.
There is one boy that was at the field that is about 10 tears old that is somewhat disabled. He has crossed eyes and a foot that rollsout. He basically walks on his outside ankle. He is the most determined person that I have seen yet. He comes to the field everyday that someone is there. My heart goes out to this kid. His name is Alex Bruno. The family cannot afford to do anything for him medically. It is so hard to just walk away from him. Anyway, we are getting ready to go out to all the local churches for the evening.

Chow!
